Sea, ships and the world of sailing at the Salon Nautic de Paris

Sea, ships and the world of sailing at the Salon Nautic de Paris

Every year since 1962, lovers of boating and water sports have made an appointment in Paris at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles for the boat show Salon Nautique International . With each edition attracting nearly 250,000 visitors and around 800 exhibitors, this trade fair devoted to all things nautical is one of the largest and most successful of its kind in the world. It’s also a great family occasion, as there’s plenty of attractions for young people to enjoy while mum and dad explore the latest developments in sailing, motor-boating, tourism, equipment and maritime technologies.

Discovering the nautical world at the boat show 2015

The Salon Nautique International de Paris takes place from December 5th to 13th, 2015, at the world-famous Porte de Versailles exhibition centre, and is simply unmissable for both enthusiasts and industry professionals. Around 1300 brands will be presented in an area of some 125,000 m2 divided between various exhibition areas, each devoted to a specific theme. Hundreds of sailing craft and motor-boats will be on display, including around 200 completely new models, some of which are being unveiled to the public for the first time right here. With over 8000 professionals in attendance, there’s plenty of scope for some business networking, too.
Many activities are planned for the 2015 edition, including exhibitions, workshops, a series of conferences, a pool for sailing model boats, demonstrations of recreation and water sports, entertainment for children, awards ceremonies, virtual reality sailing, a larger than ever paddle boarding pool, sessions with instructors and much more. Tourism is also a major theme, with sailing destinations, rentals and ocean getaways on offer, along with presentations from the leading specialists in cabin journeys and tailored cruises. There’s also all the equipment you’ll need for a successful voyage, including sails, chandlery, electronics and the very latest apps for your phone, from radar to navigation.

Set sail for unmissable events at the Paris Boat Show

One of the world’s leading water recreation tradefairs, the Nautic Show is packed with interest and excitement. From the most well-appointed and fully equipped recreational craft to the humblest kayak or windsurfing board, there’s something here for every level of interest. Even if you’re only thinking about getting involved in the world of water sports, this is the place to find all the information you need. There’s also the fun and spectacle of the Nautic SUP Paris Crossing, a paddleboard race on the Seine open to 500 competitors, and the launch of the Mini-Transat-Guadeloupe.
